Tampa (novel) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Tampa (novel)
''Tampa'' is a novel by Alissa Nutting that combines erotica, satire and social criticism. It addresses double standards such as gendered expectations for females regarding beauty and what women can get away with if they are young and attractive. The novel centers around a middle school teacher who has sexual relationships with her students. Nutting was inspired by Debra Lafave, a teacher charged with having sex with her under-age students in 2005. Nutting went to high school with Lafave; seeing someone she knew on the news raised her awareness of the issue of female predators. Some bookstores declined to offer it for sale for being too explicit regarding the nature of, ultimately, child sexual abuse by women. ==Reception== The detail of sexual content gained mixed reactions from critics.
